The unique 15-meter high Iron Age hillfort in Lithuania's Milžino region

In the Milžino region of Lithuania, the Iron Age hillfort is located between Trakinių Kurklių and Milžinkapis, about 2.9 kilometers from the crossroads of A6 Utena – Ukmergė. Registered as a cultural monument on April 29, 2005, this hillfort, with a unique code of 16274, stretches over an area of 14 hectares. Its unique walls, estimated to be 10–15 meters high, reach up to 15 meters at their peak. The entrance to the hillfort is on the southwest side, with a slit about 1.5 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. The hillfort was surveyed by the Scientific Research Team in 1982 and is managed by the National Museum of Lithuania.
