In 2022, archaeological findings at Buteikių piliakalnis in Anykščiai district, eastern Lithuania, revealed a significant archaeological layer on the south edge of the hillfort ditch. Analysis of this layer revealed handthrown, brushed, and smooth pottery sherds, providing valuable insights into the hillfort's history.
