Užluobės piliakalnis, a hillfort in Šarkė, Pilis, is located on a high plateau on the right bank of a valley. Access the site by taking a less-traveled turning left past Užluobė, 300 meters to the north. The oval-shaped fort, 1 meter above ground level, measures 50 meters by 40 meters, with a height of 70 meters and a width of 15 meters and a length of 0.5 meters. The hill fort has been dated to the 1st millennium BC to the 13th century AD. Excavations by the Institute of History of Lithuania in 1968 found remnants of English artifacts inside.
It is worth noting that the site has been heavily damaged due to erosion and the remnants of artifacts. The entrances to the fort are 10 meters above ground level and lead to a 14 meter wide and 10 meters deep ditch. There are also other ditches inside, one approximately 10 meters wide and 14 meters deep, now only visible on the west side. The fort dwellings covered 2 hectares, where pottery was found.
