The Jedžiotai hillfort lies in the Pilalė region, Knežės and Jedžiotų parishes (Aleksandrijos seniūnija). Approximately 1 km from Knežės castle gates, it stands on the right side of the Left river. Stripped of vegetation, the eroded hillfort now offers a clear view of its ancient origins. Excavated between 1930 and 1935, this archaeological site spans over a thousand-year period, from the 1st millennium BC to the XIII century.
