Torup Castle, located in Svedala Municipality, Scania, is not just a building. Nestled within the Torup beech forest, a 340-hectare recreational area, the castle's history is as rich as its surroundings. It changed hands several times over the centuries, with notable owners like King Christian IV and the Coyet family, who restored the castle and turned it into a gathering place for Sweden’s cultural and scientific elite. Today, the castle is open to the public, with guided tours available on a limited basis.
