Skabersjö Castle, completed in 1869, is the only château in Sweden. Designed by F. Horneman, it stands on a vast 17-hectare park-like estate. Long forgotten by many, it now serves as a children's home run by the Red Cross, located 12 km southeast of central Malmö.
