Puzu Hillfort: A triangular archaeological mystery in the Baltic Sea region

Puzu Hillfort is a triangular archaeological site located in the Baltic Sea region, near Skersinukai, about 2 km southeast of Nemaksciu. The hillfort is situated on a hill over 19 meters high, with a ditch surrounding it measuring 19 meters long, 1.5 meters high, and 11 meters wide. The ditch's outer bank is 2.5 meters high, granting access to a moat 26 meters wide and 5 meters deep. Puzu Hillfort is within the territory of Puza village and was archived on March 5, 2016, from the Wayback Machine project. The hillfort's exact purpose and history are unknown, but it offers a unique glimpse into the pre-Christian era of the Baltic Sea region, as there were about four thousand Baltic hillforts, the majority of which are still incompletely studied.
