The archaeological hillfort near Liolių village, also known as the hillfort in the Dratvinas plain, is veiled in intrigue. Located in the Kelmė region municipality, it is situated 1.1 km away from Liolių village, turning right at Flerijoniškė pavement. With an oval shape, the hillfort's centre measures approximately 19 x 17 meters, according to 1967 research. A rampart encircles the site, giving way to a 6 – 14 meter (wider in the south) terrace, surrounding the rampart except at the north. At the hillfort's center, you'll find a 0.5 meter high earthen rampart with a ditch. The hillfort has been badly damaged in places, with large pits evident. Archaeological research was conducted by the Lithuanian Institute of History in 1967, and the site dates back to the 1st millennium AD. It is part of the Lithuanian Cultural and Folk Heritage Atlas.
