The hill fort with the triple ditch

The hill fort at Bielkaučiznos, Zarasai, is a protected cultural heritage monument, located in the Zarasaus region of Lithuania. It is located in a separate plateau, with steep cliffs that slope towards the southeast. Approximately 15 meters high, the plateau has an average slope of 3-3.5 meters and a 1.5-meter-wide terrace at the top (excluding the southeast slope). Two meters below the terrace, there is a 2-meter-wide step, a 0.3-0.5-meter-deep ditch, and a 0.3-0.6-meter-high wall, 3 meters wide ditch. Two meters below the ditch, there is another 1.5-2 meters wide step, a 0.2-meter-deep ditch, and another 0.2-meter-high wall, 2.5-3 meters wide ditch, with a 2-meter-high slope on the third 5-meter-wide step, 0.5-meter-deep ditch. In the southern slope of the second ditch, there is the third 1.5-meter-wide step. The hill fort is dated to the Iron Age.
