In the early 1970s, the Operations Division within the renowned Swedish intelligence service, IB, is housed at Grevgatan 24. This is also where the so-called left registry, with approximately 20,000 names, is found. The main office, or Liaison Division, is in a fourth-floor apartment in the corner building at Valhallavägen 56 / Odengatan 2. The covert activities are exposed in 1973 by the two journalists Jan Guillou and Peter Bratt.
