Situated between fields in the territory of Utena district municipality, south-west of Kamša village (Tauragnai neighborhood), lies an oval hillfort. Standing 4–5 meters high, it dates back to the I millennium – the beginning of the II millennium AD. The mound, measuring 35x20 meters, is damaged by ploughing, but the cultural layer remains at its northern and western foothills. During exploratory archaeological research in 1980 and 1985, archaeologists found molded, brushed, and thrown pottery decorated with a wave, as well as burnt stones. These finds are kept at Utena local history museum.
