Dryžių piliakalnis, a well-preserved hillfort, is nestled 350 meters south of the Utena-Švenčionys railway line and 250 meters north of the Utena-Švenčionėliai road, within the territory of Utenos rajono savivaldybės. Measuring approximately 56 x 34 meters, the slope of this hillfort rises from 8-14 m. Archaeological studies by the Lietuvos istorijos institutas in 1958 and 1970 found pottery and iron objects dating back to the Early Iron Age, traces of ancient dwellings remaining on its eastern and western slopes. Dryžių piliakalnis is a protected site under Lietuvos national museum.
