Château-Neuf d'Allinges, or Château-Neuf, is an ancient castle fort from the 10th century, located on a hill named 'butte des châteaux' in the village of Allinges, Haute-Savoie, France. The ruins share the hill with those of Château-Vieux, its permanent rival, from which it is only 150 meters away. The castle was originally accompanied by a town walled by fortifications. Today, only few traces of the town's fortified walls remain. The two castles were in constant conflict for about 70 years, reflecting a long-standing feud between their occupants. Accessible from the hameau of Mâcheron and from Allinges via the rue d'en Haut, the Château-Neuf ruins offer a panoramic view of Thonon-les-Bains and Lake Geneva.
