Buvette Cachat is a French thermal establishment located in Évian-les-Bains, in the Haute-Savoie department. Conceived by the architect Albert Hébrard (1866-1942), it was opened in 1905. Although it is now a restaurant, the building retains its original structure, built in 1905. The Buvette Cachat occupies the site of the old Hôtel des Bains, and was property of the Société des eaux, founded by the Cachat family in the 18th century, following the discovery of the benefits of Evian water by the marquis Jean-Charles de Laizer who claimed that its consumption helped him recover from scurvy. Buvette Cachat was inscribed as a historical monument in 1986 and is currently being restored from 2021 to 2024. The building is made of concrete, hidden under wooden curves. It housed a fountain ornamented with a sculpture, Apothéose de la source Cachat, by Louis-Charles Beylard.
