Approximately 60 piles were found on the site, and archaeologists discovered lipdytinės ceramics with linear and geometric patterns dating back to the 1st millennium BC. The hillfort, also known as Birutės kalnas, is approximately 12 meters high. Its scarp is about 1 meter wide, and the top reaches up to the ground level. During winter, a layer of 3-meter deep snow caps the top.
