Medzionys Hillfort, situated in Medzionys village, Stakliškių seniority, Prienų region, dates back to the 1st millennium BC to the 2nd millennium BC. The hillfort, standing at 15 meters tall, covers approximately 2 hectares and was excavated in 1968. Archaeological findings included fragments of pottery, iron nails, a ledge, a wooden beam, and a staircase. Today, the hillfort, registered as a cultural heritage site under the number A171KP, is nestled within a protected reserve.
Hidden within this ancient fortification are mysteries yet to be uncovered.
