Torre dos Moreno: A Modernist Masterpiece

Torre dos Moreno, located in Ribadeo, Spain, on Plaza de España and Rua de Ibáñez, is a building that dates back to 1915, created by Pedro and Juan Moreno Ulloa. The building showcases a modernist style, with its construction consisting of a mix of concrete and iron. It is included in the Cultural Asset of the Ribadeo Historical District.

Before 1915, the plot where Torre dos Moreno stands housed the 'Torre Julia' or ‘Torre da Fortaleza’, remnants of the old Ribadeo fortress. The tower's main cupola encompasses an area of 950 m².

The building, comprising of a ground floor, three floors, and a basement (excluding the tower’s chapel), has experienced various partial restorations throughout its history.
