The Remnants of Manresa's Silent Walls

The remnants of Manresa's silent walls stand as testaments to the city's past glory. Once protectors, they now peer over the modern city from Carre Arbonés and Plaça Montserrat, with visible portions of the walls, built in the 14th century, offering glimpses into the city's rich history. The best-preserved segment is found on Carrer de l'Apotecari, where a portecalla adovellada also stands. Despite much of the wall being hidden beneath the modern structures that make up the city’s fabric, there are remnants that remain, providing a glimpse into the past.
