The neoclassical building abandoned since 1986

The neoclassical building in Teran, built in the heart of the Valle de Cabuérniga in the mid-19th century, was created to educate the local community. The walls are made of stone masonry, with elements of ashlar in the central body. The building was sold by the Town Hall of Teran to a private owner in 1986. In 2001, the government autonomous of Cantabria included the building as a Cultural Heritage of Cantabria. However, as of 2022, the building is still abandoned and in a state of ruin.
