The hill with buried treasures and an iron age inscription in Dabravolė

Dabravolė's hill stands alone as a trapezoidal structure, located in the Vilkaviškio rajono savivaldybės territory, near Dabravolė, Pajevonio seniūnijoje. The hill, built during the Iron Age, around the 1st-2nd century AD, served as a hillfort. It has a height range of 25-28 meters. Inscriptions were found in the hillfort. The western slope of the hill is 4 meters below the hill. The hill was studied in 1962 and 1965 by the Historical Institute of Lithuania. The Lithuanian Republic's Cultural Heritage Protection Committee issued a notice for the preservation of a cultural heritage site on May 19, 1998. The plot of the cultural heritage site is 25,400 m². The hill's inscription and treasures are believed to be buried there.
