The oval enclosure, dating back to the Iron Age, is located in the Vilkaviškio region. Identified as a unique object (LNM), it covers an area of 0.7 hectares. It was excavated in 1962 by the Historical Institute and is managed by the Lithuanian National Museum. Ceramic and hide remains have been found within the site, mentioned in lists of Lithuanian cultural monuments in 1973 and 1993, and described in a 1956 publication by A. Kaminski.
