Murcia, 1906. Thisfangled quarrel between the city hall and the owners of Casa Díáz Cassou dragged on since June 1903, leaving the building in an unfinished state for a bewildering period of three years. What's more befuddling, the discord didn't cease until the structure was finally complete in 1906. Today, the property, skillfully designed by José Antonio Rodríguez, serves as a backdrop for exhibitions and cultural activities coordinated by the Government of the Region of Murcia. One of its numerous curious qualities is the chaflan at the primary angle of the façade. The interior artistic work was completede by Pedro García del Bosque between 1907 and 1908.
