Obonys - also known as Zubinsky Hillfort - sits in Zubinsky Parish, in Kupishkio District. Its oval shape, with a trench surrounding it, is easily recognizable, but with no distinctive landmarks to mark its location. It is 24x30 meters in size, 0.3 meters in depth and 3 meters in width. The trench is 140 meters long, 0.6-0.8 meters high and 4 meters wide. This ancient hillfort, oval in shape and with a trench, is registered in the Cultural Heritage List of Lithuania under number 5285 (1992). It is protected by law since 1998.
