Prelomčiškė Hillfort, situated on the bank of the Dusios Lake in Lithuania, is a unique archaeological site dating back to the 1st to 13th centuries. This hillfort stands an impressive 40 meters high and is encircled by a 7-meter-high stone wall, with a narrow gap of 1 meter. Inside, two levels are found. The lower level showcases a platform for statues, while the upper level provides a parking lot for cars. The area surrounding it boasts 3 hectares of vegetation, with remnants of a residential area and broken ceramic pieces uncovered. The hillfort was studied by the Historical Institute in 1954, and it is now protected by a law passed by the Lithuanian government on May 19, 1998.
