The Obelytė archaeological site, located in Miroslavo seniūnija, Alytaus rajono savivaldybės teritorijoje, is part of a complex that also includes Kaukų archaeological site with dwelling. Excavated by archaeologists of Vilnius University from 1967 to 1969, led by Pranas Kulikauskas, the site was found to have a 22 m² layer of burnt clay and stone with 2-3 degree Celsius layers, and a 32 m² layer of the top was found to contain broken and lump ceramics. Today, a pot can be found on the site. The Obelytė archaeological site has been under protection of Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės nutarimas dėl paskelbimo kultūros paminklu from 1998-05-19; Nr.612.
