In the left bank of the Slaitu River bend, Pelekonių III piliakalnis is a triangular hillfort dating back to as early as the 1st century AD. The three-sided mound, eroding over time, stands at 15 meters high and 8 meters wide at the top. The hillfort is surrounded by a 4-meter high, 19-meter wide ditch, making it hard to approach. The ditch has a 5-meter high ridge that extends to 25 meters wide and 3 meters deep. The hillfort is listed in the Cultural Heritage Register of the Republic of Lithuania and dated to the 1st to 2nd century AD. Today, it stands in the territory of Prienai district municipalities, near Dambavas, Jiezno seniūnija. The hillfort is being covered with concretions, cutting off the surrounding forest.
