The Paparčiai Hillfort, hidden in Lithuania, is found on the right bank of the Žiežmaros river, on a higher plateau. It is enclosed by a ditch, with a depth of 3 meters on the right slope and 25 meters wide on the western side. The upper part of the hillfort leans towards Žiežmaros, while the lower part has a 24 meter deep, 3.5 meter high, 15 meter wide ditch with a 5.5 meter high crag. The site was registered for preservation on April 29, 2005, and covers an area of 21,000 m². The first discovery of the site was made by the Institute of History in 1971, and archaeological research has been conducted by various experts such as Konstantinas Avižonis, Stasys Miglinas, Bronius Kviklys, Vytautas Daugudis.
