After the closing party for the Scandinavian Masters golf competition at Café Opera on August 23, 2007, Bill Murray got into a golf car to return to his hotel at Humlegården, Hotel Anglais. At half past four in the morning on Stureplan, the American film star was stopped by the police, who suspected him of driving the vehicle while intoxicated. According to Expressen, Bill Murray is reported to have said: ‘When the police came, I made a perfect U-turn and drove straight to them.’
