Abel Glena's Menton Masterpiece: Maison de la rue Loredan-Larchey

Abel Glena's Menton Masterpiece, known as the Maison de la rue Loredan-Larchey, is a testament to early 20th-century architecture on the Riviera. The house, built in 1911, features a distinct sgraffito frieze on its roof. Commissioned by Antoine Anfossi and his wife Thérèse Gibelli, Abel Glena constructed the house on land procured in 1907. The building's façade, decor, and roof are inscribed as a historical monument by arrêté du 3 avril 1990, and it received the Label Patrimoine du XXe siècle on 1er mars 2001.
