Herrängen Manor has ancient roots and was one of the many estates divided into plots in the early 1900s to become part of a new residential community. It was during patron Lignell's time, and he owned both Herrängen and Långsjö. Today, two of the Herrängen farm buildings house restaurants, and inside the park lies the only dance floor for the Långsjörundan, with the only sports field nearby.
