Gunnar Gren, one of Gothenburg's most successful soccer players of the 20th century, stands as a bronze statue outside Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg. Commissioned by Göteborgs Alliansen and Kanal Göteborg, and created by Jan Steen, the statue was unveiled on September 29, 1993, right on Gamla Ullevi.
