Garden of Floridablanca

Jardín de Floridablanca is a public garden in Murcia, Spain, created in the mid-19th century. The garden's origin goes back to an ancient alameda, which was extended in 1786 by planting new trees. The alameda was later transformed into Jardín de Floridablanca in 1849 following an investment of 26,084 reales de vellón. The garden features various species of vegetation, which delight visitors and astonish those who travel to the city. One of the most notable landmarks in the garden is the monument to Conde de Floridablanca, who is also the namesake of the park. The statue for the monument was created by Santiago Baglietto, while the pedestal was created by Francisco Bolarín the Elder.
