**Šeduviškės piliakalnis** is an archaeological hillfort nestled in the Kelmė District Municipality, near the village of Maironiai. It stands on a hill, in a shallow valley now divided into fields. The highest point of the hillfort is 45 meters above the surrounding terrain. Fortified with walls and ant mound-shaped structures, it is a relic of Lithuania's ancient past. Excavated by archaeologists in 1967, it is dated to the 1st millennium AD. Research by the Lithuanian Institute of History reveals that its exact origins remain a mystery, but Šeduviškēs piliakalnis is thought to be a significant testament to the rich history of the region. Today, it stands quietly among the fields, a hidden piece of Lithuania's ancient heritage.
