The Devil’’s Den is a Neolithic burial chamber on Fyfield Hill near Marlborough, Wiltshire, England. Two standing stones, a capstone and two fallen stones remain of what was the entrance to a long mound. The capstone, believed to weigh 17 tons, is the most intriguing feature of the site. Today, the site serves as a testament to an era of mystery and intrigue. The site is now overseen by the National Trust, and the standing stones and capstone remain as a reminder of the site’s ancient past. At present, the site is often quiet, save for the whispers of the wind through the stones, a fitting silence for a site of such ancient origin.
