Situated in Hondarribia, Spain, Casa de Casadevante, a building dating to the 16th or 17th century, serves as a testament to a significant historical event. The house, with its two entrances, is where negotiations for a truce following the heroic siege of 1698 occurred. The text on the plate reads: 'In this house, the emissaries of the Prince of Condé and the authorities of the town negotiated the terms of the truce that followed the heroic siege of the year 1698.'
