Hidden in a secluded valley, a short distance from the Aluona and Nevėžio rivers, lies the archaeological site known as Kaupčius. The oval-shaped mound, oriented southwest, towers 4 meters high, measuring 8.5 meters wide. Steps, of average height, tower 4 meters as well, suggesting a potential burial site. Some sources indicate this site may have once held a tomb, potentially belonging to a significant person.
