The hillfort in Šiaudiniai, Utena region, remains an enduring enigma for archaeologists. This site, registered in the list of cultural heritage monuments of Lithuania, is not only the hillfort itself but also a settlement that is located near it. The hillfort is oval, 20x17 meters in size, with walls up to 2.5 meters high and 22 meters wide on the eastern side. The hillfort, buried but partially visible, is surrounded by a moat up to 2 meters wide and 1.5 meters deep. A settlement was discovered near the hillfort, around 12 meters away, which is oval in shape, 70 meters long and 30 meters wide on the western side. The settlement contains both excavated and unexcavated areas.
