Perched decently in the countryside, Šukioniai Hillfort reveals an unassuming oval shape. Known to have been first seized by the Livonian Order's knights in 1372, this archaeological site, hidden within the upper part of the terrain, boasts a rich history. The hillfort offers captivating panoramic views overlooking Šukionių forest. However, its simple beauty belies the relics patiently waiting to be uncovered beneath its surface: arrowheads, cup-marks, and horse harness decorations.
