The Sangailai hillfort, also known as Piliakalnio, Stagių, and Šėtos, is a remarkable archaeological site situated in Kėdainių rajono savivaldybės territory, near Sangailai, Šėtos seniūnija. The hillfort, built on a hill with a trapezoid shape, is approximately 21 meters wide from south to north and has a height of 10-12 m at its highest point in the northern part. This hillfort also boasts a ditch on all sides, the highest point of which is 2 meters above the ground and 17 meters wide in the southern part and 20 meters in the northern part. According to findings, this hillfort was inhabited from the 1st century BC to the 2nd century AD and has been protected by the Lithuanian government as a cultural monument since May 19, 1998.
