Bakainiai hillfort is an ancient hill fort located in Surviliškio seniūnijoje, Krekenavos regioniniame parke, Liaudės kairiajame krante, 1,4 km west of Liaudės and Nevėžio santakos, šalia Bakainių kaimo. The highest part of the hillfort is a plateau approximately 70 meters long and 55 meters wide. The plateaus stand, 19 meters high. The highest points of the plateaus have 6–8-meter-high walls, currently not visible. The western plateau has a 170 meters long, 75 meters wide pre-castle, 5 meters high and 4 meters deep T-shaped moat. The eastern part of the central plateau has the first fort, whose moat forms a trapezoid shape, the southern part of the western plateau – a square shape, 165 (SHV)-200 (PR)x63 (PV)-90 (SR) meters in size. According to the legend, 0.2 km west of the hill fort is Bakainiai burial mound.
