Under the golden rays of the Canary Islands sun, a glorious sight emerges, high above the enchanted city of Santa Cruz, a creation that flowed from the imagination of a Catalan artist named Xavier Corberó. In the Year of the Enchanted Dream, 1973, Ejecutores, a celestial sculpture, took shape, soaring sixty feet above the earth, crafted from concrete and polystyrene, its essence woven into six magical spheres, bound together by a single, twisting arch, embracing a tale for all to uncover. Each sphere held two equal orbs, gracefully connected, like vessels filled with the dreams' essence, stirring emotions from all who gaze upon them.
Once, this sculpture fell under a tragic fate, as the restless dance of Hurricane Delta brushed across the land in 2005, tearing it away from its original home. After a period of restoration, the sculpture returned, settling thirty meters from its birthplace, on the Rambla de Santa Cruz, in the Year of the Phoenix, 2010, forever etched in the annals of Santa Cruz, Tenerife, reinstated as a chapter in a fairy-tale storybook.
