The Edificio Villasegura is situated in the Los Hoteles barrio in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the island of Tenerife. Designed by Manuel de Cámara y Cruz at the beginning of the 20th century, the building is a rectangular structure with a symmetrical facade across three floors. It features three vertical protrusions, with the central and side bodies connected by intermediate panels featuring semi-circular windows with glazed uprights, alfiz, and separating pilasters.
The ground floor is dominated by escarzano openings, while the base is decorated with horizontal slats simulating ashlar blocks. On the first level, the pilasters framing the entrance are replaced by four round pillars. The top of the building features a cornice and two triangular pediments with rosettes on the sides, incorporated into the third-level facade and supported by Ionic columns on stepped plinths.
A third floor was added to the original two, which altered the composition and harmony of the original building. The facade is decorated with medallions of Imeldo Serís Granier and Blanco, marqués de Villasegura, Viera y Clavijo, and Bethencourt y Molina, created by Eduardo Tarquis. Surrounded by gardens, the building includes a basement and two floors. The ground floor interior is divided into rooms for classrooms, while the upper floors originally contained two rooms for a museum and library, and another for a museum and assembly hall.
