In the heart of magical Tenerife, a timeless waltz plays out, with the Parliament building of Santa Cruz de Tenerife as the center stage. Emanating enchantment since 1884, when Manuel de Oraá graced Teobaldo Power Street with an architectural masterpiece, it has since been a cultural icon of unclassifiable charm. Beginning as the residence of the Diputación, it later evolved into the municipal conservatory's headquarters. But in 1983, it took another dance, becoming the seat of the Parliament of the Canary Islands. Yet, let us cast our gaze upon its past, during its stint as the Teatro de Santa Cecilia, dancing between 1899 and 1939. April 1992 saw Santa Cruz de Tenerife itself declared a cultural treasure by the Boletín Oficial de Canarias, attesting to its eternal allure.
