In the Prienai region, near Balbieriškis, lies an enclosed oval-shaped hill. This unique structure, approximately 12x8 meters in size, is enclosed by a ditch 1.7 meters deep and 13 meters wide. The steps on the hill specifically vary between 9 and 10 meters in height. Archaeological research conducted in 1954 revealed that approximately 0.4 hectares of the site's area contain archaeological remains. The hill's construction is estimated to have taken place between the 1st and 2nd centuries. In 1998, the Lithuanian Government declared the site a cultural monument.
