Palacio de los Dávila is a medieval palace located in Puente del Congosto, Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain. Declared a cultural asset on October 7, 2019, it began construction in 1393 by Gil González Dávila. Queen Isabel I, not Isabel II, is believed to have stayed in the palace. Emperor Carlos V also stayed here. The palace passed to the Ducado de Alba in 1539 and remained in the family until 1881. Currently privately owned, it stands on a hill overlooking the Tormes River. Its irregular hexagonal shape is adorned with a tower on one side. Defensive and decorative elements characteristic of medieval military architecture persist.
