The Palacio de la Magdalena is an iconic monument located in Santander, Spain. It was constructed between 1909 and 1911 under the supervision of architects Javier González Riancho and Gonzalo Bringas Vega. This grand palace was funded through popular subscription, and it served as the summer residence for the Spanish royal family from 1913 to 1930. Since 1932, the Palacio de la Magdalena has been used as the venue for the summer courses of the Menéndez Pelayo International University. The palace also hosts various public events and serves as a cultural and historical landmark in the city of Santander.
