Church of Santa Lucía, Santander

The Church of Santa Lucía, located in the Spanish city of Santander, is a stunning example of 19th-century religious architecture. It was built between 1854 and 1868, designed in the ecléctico style by Antonio Zabaleta. The campanario of the church is a tower made of stone and cast iron that stands tall and out in the Santander skyline. The recent renovations have addressed several issues such as cracked stones, leaking ensure Rooms, vegetation, and ventilation problems. The campanario was in a poor state, with the laminate of the tower being extremely worn and the structure of the campanario being supported by a base of wood that was completely rotten and another of iron that was very damaged. The renovated campanario now stands strong and beautiful in the heart of Santander.
