Mistos, also known as Match Cover or Matches, is a group of sculptures created by artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, displayed in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The sculptures were unveiled in 1992 in anticipation for the 1992 Summer Olympics and are made of painted steel and concrete. The centerpiece shows five matches being bent out of a matchbox, with the tallest match being set ablaze with a blue flame. The bright, bold colors and exaggerated scale make Mistos an interactive and whimsical addition to Barcelona's urban landscape.
