Marker's Cottage in Broadclyst, Devon

In the heart of Broadclyst, a village in Devon, stands Marker's Cottage, a Grade II* listed building. Built or founded in the 15th century, the cottage features a thatched roof and 'cob' walls, a traditional building method of clay, straw, and water. Inside, you'll find ancient oak beams, fireplaces, a bread oven, and original lime-ash floors. The oak screens between the hall and parlour are decorated and date back to the early 1500s.
