The Evolving History of Lennartsnäs: From Royal Estate to Modern Luxury

Lennartsnäs, located in Sweden, has a rich history dating back to the 16th century. Initially, Vadstena Kloster owned the estate, but it was later transformed into a friherresäteri under the management of Anders Sigfridsson (later Rålamb). The estate later passed through various aristocratic families, including the Oxenstierna and Ugglas clans. Construction of the current main building commenced in 1769, but it was left unfinished until 1831. In 2016, a housing association acquired the property, dividing the three floors into six unfinished apartments and selling them for between SEK 6,75 million and SEK 8,75 million. Today, the modern stables form the base for the current operation, run by Caroline af Ugglas Åberg and Hans Åberg.
